Singapore University of Technology and Design

Singapore, Singapore

The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), founded in 2009, is Singapore's fourth autonomous university and its only institution built specifically around design, technology and artificial intelligence, describing itself as the world's first "Design·AI" university. SUTD was co-developed with MIT, whose partnership shaped the undergraduate curriculum, student exchange programmes and the SUTD-MIT International Design Centre, alongside further collaboration with Zhejiang University and Singapore Management University. Based on a Changi campus, SUTD is organised around four pillars — Architecture and Sustainable Design, Engineering Product Development, Engineering Systems and Design, and Information Systems Technology and Design — with over a quarter of its faculty ranked among the world's top 2% most highly cited scientists and more than $602 million in research funding attracted to date. 91.5% of graduates are in jobs within six months of graduating.
