Singapore Management University

Singapore, Singapore

Singapore Management University (SMU), founded in 2000, is Singapore's third autonomous university and its only specialist institution focused on business, law, economics, computing and the social sciences. Based on a distinctive city campus spanning Singapore's central business, heritage and cultural districts, SMU is taught through a collaborative, seminar-style, project-based model rather than large lectures. Its business school is one of a small number worldwide to hold triple-crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA), and its MBA is ranked among Asia's top 15 (Financial Times Global MBA Ranking). With around 12,000 students and a 36,000-strong global alumni network, SMU is organised into six schools, including the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, the School of Accountancy, the School of Computing and Information Systems and the Yong Pung How School of Law.
