Nile University

Nile University (NU), founded in 2006 and officially inaugurated in January 2007, is Egypt's first non-profit, research and entrepreneurial university, located in Sheikh Zayed City, Giza. Established with support from the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, NU became an autonomously managed (Ahleya) university in 2014. It comprises 5 schools -- Engineering and Applied Sciences, Information Technology and Computer Science, Business Administration, Biotechnology, and the Graduate School of Management of Technology -- and is internationally accredited by Pearson (UK), with research centers spanning informatics, nanotechnology, and wireless networks.
