Misr International University (MIU), established by presidential decree in 1996, is a private research university in Obour City, Qalyubiyya Governorate, on the outskirts of Cairo. Focused on six faculties -- Al-Alsun and Mass Communication, Business Administration and International Trade, Computer Science, Engineering Sciences and Arts, Oral and Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy -- MIU maintains partnerships with American and European universities and is a member of the Association of Arab Universities. All programs are taught in English.
