John von Neumann University

John von Neumann University (JvNU), established on 1 July 2016 through the merger of the College of Kecskemét and the College of Szolnok and renamed in 2017 after the Hungarian-American scientist, is a public university in Kecskemét, south-central Hungary. Its legal predecessor, the Engineering College of Kecskemét, dates to 1964. Comprising three faculties -- GAMF Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Economics and Business, and Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development -- JvNU pioneered Hungary's dual-training model, partnering closely with manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary and Knorr-Bremse Brake Systems.
