German University in Cairo (GUC)

The German University in Cairo (GUC) is a private non-profit institution established in 2002 in New Cairo, in cooperation with the state universities of Ulm and Stuttgart. GUC is the first integrated German university outside Germany offering all three Bologna cycles — B.Sc., M.Sc., and PhD — across 71 study programs in engineering, pharmacy, applied sciences, business, and the arts. With approximately 12,947 students and a campus of 577,000 m², GUC also operates a Berlin campus enabling students to study in Germany. The university is accredited by ACQUIN and ZEvA in Germany and recognized across Europe and Egypt.
