The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), established in 1972 as a specialized institution of the League of Arab States, is one of Egypt's largest higher education institutions, with campuses in Alexandria, Cairo, El Alamein, Port Said, Aswan, Smart Village, and Latakia (Syria).
