ABET-accredited petroleum engineering — one of the strongest in the region, inherited from the former Petroleum Institute which was established in partnership with ADNOC in 2001. Covers reservoir engineering, well design, drilling, production optimisation, and enhanced oil recovery. KU holds a $1.5 billion research endowment largely from ADNOC. Graduates enter ADNOC, Shell, ExxonMobil, BP, and major UAE energy companies.
