North American Studies is an interdisciplinary single-subject bachelor’s program focused on the societies, cultures, histories, politics, literatures, and economies of North America. Students study across multiple disciplines at the John F. Kennedy Institute, combining area-studies knowledge with interdisciplinary analysis. The program includes a mandatory semester abroad, usually in the fifth or sixth semester.
